Northern Ireland Press Photographers Association

The 2003 competition was launched this year by Byrom Bramwell, Director and General Manager of Vodafone, in Precious nightclub.

With membership of the association now standing at over seventy fully paid up members the competition looks as though it could be tough. Three prizes have been added this year and they are "The Provincial Merit Awards" - given at the judges discretion to any entry by a provincial photographer.

The deadline for entries is 17.00 on the 2nd May (no exceptions) and they should be handed in or sent to:

This year please note that as well as prints, work must also be supplied on CD. The awards night will be held on Thursday 22nd May in the Hilton Hotel in Belfast.
