We now have a date for the NIPPA Exhibition which is being held at the Ormeau Baths Gallery in Belfast and sponsored by the Arts Council for Northern Ireland.

At present a Curator has been appointed - Peter Richards from the Golden Thread Gallery who will help us with the project.
We have 450 images altogether from yourselves from the early 1970’s to the present day ,so a massive thanks for all your support.
We have meeting with Peter and the Arts Council next week to begin the selection process so I’ll keep you informed.

We are intending to have a good representation printed and hopefully the others will be put onto a DVD naming each Photographer and the work will then be projected in the Gallery.

There is also provision being made for a good catalogue.

The Washington exhibition will open on the 14^th March at the Press Club in Washington DC and the images for this will also be selected from the 450 we now have although it will be printed separately and the content will be different with some overlaps. A DVD on a loop system will also be used to show extra images as there won’t be as much space as Belfast.

It is hoped that other venues will also take the images as part of the Smithsonian Festival which is representing Northern Ireland in 2007.

We are hoping to have our AGM on or about the 17^th January - venue and time to be confirmed, so if you know any new members looking to join get the applications in. Our Secretary John McIlwaine has some already.
