WILLIAM CHERRY DOES IT AGAIN

Former Newspaper editor Derek Jameson presents Press Eye photographer William Cherry with the National Association of Press Agencies Sports Photo of the Year Award at an awards ceremony at London's City Grange Hotel. 

The photograph is of boxer Wayne McCullough during his fight with Oscar Larios in Los Angeles. 

The award follows his recent title of Vodafone N.Ireland Press Photographer of the Year which he won at a ceremony in Belfast last week. 

Runner-up in the Sports category was Charles McQuillan from Pacemaker Press in Belfast.
