Hope summer is going well for you all. Time is flying and we are now trying to move on the Washington Exhibition.

For those of you who missed the last Email, we have been invited to exhibit in Washington DC as part of the Smithsonian Institution
events as it is Northern Ireland Year at their festival next year.

We are hoping to show at the National Press Club in the City which is a very prestigious venue during March and then move the exhibition on to other venues in the City, this is still being organized.

 

The organizers would like the exhibition of photographs to be a look at the vibrant, go ahead Northern Ireland featuring Arts, Culture, Sport and People.

We have explained that we are a strong body with lots of News material so we would like to include that as well. Obviously they want to show the Province in the best light so we have to work with them as they are giving us funding.

As we want this to be an all inclusive membership exhibition we would like you to put your best 5 images onto a CD for selection and post it to me at by the 30th September. 

Please remember to put all the relevant information required in file info as this will help us out when trying to caption them.

The committee will then have to work out the structure for the exhibition in conjunction with the organizers and then sort out the printing, mounting etc after this.

Hope this is all ok, it should be good for us as an Association.
