Ever read a magazine article and thought to yourself, ‘how do they come up with this tosh’? Well, now all is going to be revealed as former newspaper editor Janet Street Porter takes on ten celebs and trains them up as magazine journalists.





More used to life in the spotlight, this reality TV veteran will have to get used to being behind the lens.

New reality TV show Deadline sees rookie celeb reporters Abi Titmuss, Dean Holdsworth, Chris Parker, Dom Jolly, Yvette Fielding, Iwan Thomas, Imogen Lloyd Webber, Lisa I’Anson, Ingrid Tarrant and Blair McDonough vying for roles in the newsroom.



 

The snapper supremo who founded top photo agency Big Pictures will be helping the celebs with their camera skills.

They will have to write stories, forage for gossip, interview their peers and out-pap the paparazzi, with guidance from showbiz columnist Joe Mott and snapper-extraordinare Darryn Lyons

The easy-on-the-eye offspring of musical maestro Andrew Lloyd Webber already boasts writing experience, having penned her own book.

On the face of it the celebs should make natural tabloid journos, both are partial to a drink, love their freebies and have inflated senses of self-importance. But with deadlines looming, who will be able to match the standards required by their experienced editor?
